Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
- Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas, ensuring that they are aligned with our culinary vision and values.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3 years of previous restaurant experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure, with a high level of stress tolerance.
