About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist III to join our team in Chelsea, Massachusetts. As a Radiation Therapist III, you will play a critical role in the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring a safe and sterile workspace for patients and staff.
  • Assist with the peri-operative care of patients, working closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure smooth and efficient function of the operating room.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies in radiation therapy.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
  • Current Surgical Technologist Certification administered by a nationally recognized surgical technologist certifying body.
  • 5 years of surgical technician experience, with radiation or radiology procedural experience preferred.
  • Personal attributes such as good judgment, dependability, and initiative are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Committee and leadership experience preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience working and leading teams preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
