About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist III to join our team in Chelsea, Massachusetts. As a Radiation Therapist III, you will play a critical role in the delivery of high-quality patient care in our Radiation Oncology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Assist with the peri-operative care of patients, working closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional care and support.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in Radiation Oncology.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
  • Current Surgical Technologist Certification, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in surgical technology.
  • Strong understanding of sterile techniques and ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Committee and leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in a team-based environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with a strong understanding of emergency response procedures.
