We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Coder to join our team at JM Temporary Services & Affiliates, Inc. as a contract Medical Coding Specialist.
Job Responsibilities:
- Abstract and code medical records according to International Classification of Diseases and Current Procedural Terminology coding classifications.
- Perform related duties as required, including evaluating charts for completeness and accuracy, and participating in performance improvement projects.
- Assist with special studies and research projects as requested by medical staff.
Requirements:
- CPC or CCS Certification Required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of $24.50-$26.80
- A contract position of 720 hours/4-4 1/2 months (can be extended)
