Executive Hotel Leader

The Benson Hotel, a premier luxury boutique hotel, is seeking an experienced Executive Hotel Leader to drive success in our team.

This role requires strong leadership, team building, and full-service hotel experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the team
  • Develop and maintain a unique guest experience
  • Maintain or exceed budget guidelines, profitability, and guest satisfaction standards
  • Ensure property operations meet internal audit standards and follow all safety procedures
  • Submit quarterly plans and actions for operations of the property
  • Prepare annual budget and develop short-term and long-term strategies
  • Develop staff for promotion within the company
  • Investigate guest complaints and initiate corrective action
  • Maintain incident rate at or below industry average
  • Support and maintain local and national sales/marketing programs
  • Ensure compliance with state/federal labor laws and regulations, and Union contracts
  • Represent the hotel in public speaking forums and maintain quality community relationships
  • Follow applicable preventative maintenance programs
  • Ensure security function protects the safety of staff, guests, and hotel assets

Requirements:

  • Excellent leadership skills and proven ability to build and motivate teams
  • Hands-on and willing to set an example for all employees to follow
  • Highly developed customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with the public, hotel staff, and management
  • Minimum 6 years of hotel/restaurant management experience, including prior experience with Hilton Hotels and upscale boutique market
  • Prior experience with hotel renovations and union contracts preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and nights

This is a full-time, salaried exempt position with competitive wages and benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and employee discounts.
