Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to provide support to our Telemental Health provider in a correctional facility setting. The successful candidate will assist with telemental health clinic visits, prepare patients, and provide administrative support as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with telemental health clinic visits, including preparing patients and administrative support
  • Provide support to the mental health care team for daily operations
  • Assist with on-site correspondence and care coordination between Telemental Health and on-site staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a valid certificate from an agency approved by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Medical Board of California to practice as a Medical Assistant. You must also have active certification status prior to appointment into the classification.

Working Conditions

Travel is required for this position. You will be working in a correctional facility setting, providing support to our Telemental Health provider and assisting with daily operations.
