Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Publishing Operations Coordinator to join our team at the Yale Center for British Art.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in book publishing or a related field, with excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Publications Department
  • Respond to queries from other departments and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate the internal procurement process for the department
  • Assist with the acquisition of images and secure permissions for use
  • Collect, label, and maintain image storage

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BA/BS and two years of related experience in book publishing or a related field
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and database management
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Location: New Haven, CT
