As a Facilities and Maintenance Manager at IMPOWER, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings and equipment. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of facility upkeep, including routine preventative maintenance to ensure facilities are safe and operable.
  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards, including asset management and expected lifespan.
  • Inspect buildings regularly to determine the need for repairs and renovations, and submit monthly facility reports.
  • Serve as lead on capital projects, including support with new construction, permitting, and other related tasks.
  • Coordinate and oversee facility inspections, including fire and health department inspections.
  • Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, including grounds and parking lots.
  • Ensure grounds are clean and safe, including landscaping and other related tasks.
  • Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments, including negotiating contracts and managing vendors.
  • Makes repairs and improvements on buildings, vehicles, and equipment, and coordinates and manages contractors as necessary.
  • Maintain maintenance logs and complete reports on repairs, safety, and other occurrences.
  • Organize cleaning, painting, and maintenance projects for volunteers and clients, and oversee their participation.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance, cleaning, and janitorial supplies, and follow established procedures in the ordering and purchase of needed materials.
  • Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions, and respond as needed in emergencies.
  • Ensure tools are secured and accounted for daily.
  • Report all emergency/safety issues to supervisor immediately, and follow through with repairs within 24 hours.
  • Maintain client files with all required case management documentation and updated client information.
  • Complete required training courses within designated time frame.
  • Abide by ethics, policies, and procedures, and professional standards of IMPOWER.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least two years of experience in custodial or related work.
  • Successful background screenings through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, State, and County.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance, and successful motor vehicle driving record background check.
  • Negative result from a multi-panel drug screen.
Salary Description

$24.04 per hour, with credit given for relative education and experience above what is required for the position up to $27.40 per hour. Annualized $50, $57,000.00 for Full-Time.
