- Performance Improvement: Participate in performance improvement processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to University and departmental policies and procedures.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all patient information, adhering to federal and state guidelines and regulations.
- Reporting and Communication: Generate patient reports and forward them to relevant departments and physicians, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Problem-Solving: Investigate and respond to inquiries or problems related to referral testing, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Lead/Backup Role: Serve as a lead or backup when the supervisor is unavailable, ensuring seamless laboratory operations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
