Job Summary

We're seeking a highly qualified and experienced Practical Nursing Instructor to join our team. As a full-time instructor, you'll be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our nursing program, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and teach classes, including some morning and afternoon clinicals on weekends
  • Monitor student attendance and grades, and submit reports in a timely manner
  • Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives to ensure quality of program
  • Plan and implement orientation for new faculty members
  • Utilize adult learning principles to enhance teaching and learning
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of instruction
  • Maintain student records and assist with program data collection
  • Submit required reports and forms to the Director of the program
  • Stay current with new technologies and safety regulations
  • Participate in committee activities and attend faculty meetings
  • Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in assigned healthcare facilities
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback

Qualifications

We're looking for a candidate with a BSN degree and at least 3 years of bedside experience as an RN in the field. If you're passionate about teaching and mentoring, and have a strong commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply.
