Job Summary:

Western Governors University is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Instructor to join our team in the Prelicensure Nursing Program. As a Clinical Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring nursing students in a clinical setting, providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the program's curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Provide direct instruction and guidance to students in a clinical setting, including hands-on training and feedback.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Current, unencumbered RN license.
  • At least two years of experience in nursing education or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
