About the Role

Kupper Engineering Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ambler, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical distribution systems, including medium voltage and substation modifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical distribution systems, including medium voltage and substation modifications
  • Prepare protection and control schematics, wiring drawings, and relay philosophies for substation modifications
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve a variety of substation protection and controls issues
  • Perform load studies and energy analysis
  • Develop one-line diagrams, control schematics, and electrical and instrument diagrams (E&IDs)
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with a focus on Power Systems or similar
  • Two to five years of experience with a concentration in relay/protection engineering or related disciplines
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • Basic knowledge of electrical design concepts and techniques
