Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer, PE to join our team at Utilities Service Co Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining power systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering work in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of power systems.
- Develop one-line diagrams, control schematics, and electrical & instrument diagrams (E&IDs).
- Perform equipment selections, load calculations, control diagrams, systems narratives, commissioning planning and execution, and creating specification documents.
- Utilize basic engineering principles and practical design solutions.
- Assist in the development and review of custom designs and sequences.
- Develop and implement integrated systems testing procedures and commissioning.
- Assist with Project management to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Work with Clients, Salesman, Managers, and Engineers to coordinate project designs.
- Work with sub-consultant(s) to coordinate trades.
- Attend job meetings & coordinate activities as required.
- Attend training as requested to further enhance your duties.
- Train and mentor entry and mid-level engineers.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding initiative, a well-organized and strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent computer knowledge and advanced skills using CAD and Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
- BS in Electrical Engineering.
- Hold a current, active PE license in Pennsylvania.
- Licensure in the additional state(s) is an advantage.
- 7+ years of experience.
- Experience with REVIT is an advantage.
