About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer PE to join our team at Kupper Engineering Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-end engineering consulting design, construction, and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct engineering site surveys and analysis to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare protection & control schematics, wiring drawings, and relay philosophies for substation modifications.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve a variety of substation protection and controls issues.
  • Develop one-line diagrams, control schematics, and electrical & instrument diagrams (E&IDs).
  • Perform equipment selections, load calculations, control diagrams, systems narratives, commissioning planning, and execution.
  • Utilize basic engineering principles and practical design solutions to deliver timely, efficient, creative, and cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with a focus on Power Systems or similar.
  • Hold a current, active PE license in Pennsylvania.
  • 7+ years of experience with 3-5 years of experience in relay/protection engineering or related disciplines.
  • Programming knowledge or experience with protection relays and other substation equipment.
