Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Support Engineer to support our federal customer in Indian Head, Maryland. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in designing buildings with specific requirements (temperature, humidity, etc.).

Responsibilities:
  • Technical reviews of design packages
  • Preparation of technical reports to summarize preventative maintenance status reports
  • Creation of long-term upgrade budgetary projections
Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Federal experience in designing buildings with specific requirements (temperature, humidity, etc.)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in Mechanical Design, specifically supporting Federal Industrial Projects
  • HVAC System Design
  • AutoCAD design/drafting experience
  • Department of Defense Secret level security clearance
