Ladgov Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Sculpture Conservation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our conservation team, you will be responsible for the assessment, maintenance, and conservation of bronze and marble sculptures.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Documentation: Conduct thorough examinations and document the current conditions of sculptures to inform conservation decisions.
- Maintenance and Preventive Treatment: Implement preventive treatments to minimize and prevent future deterioration or loss of sculptures.
- Conservation and Restoration: Remediate current damaging processes and restore sculptures to their original appearance, including replication of missing pieces.
- Professional Qualifications: The applicant must have an active membership in the American Institute of Conservation (AIC) at the level of Professional Associate or Fellow.
- Education and Experience: The applicant must have a professional training in object conservation at an accredited institution resulting in a master's degree or ten (10) years of comparable training and experience.
- Project Experience: The applicant must have experience serving as both the Senior Conservator and Project Director on a minimum of two (2) bronze and two (2) marble sculpture conservation projects in the past five (5) years.
