Job Summary

The Operations Analyst plays a critical role in providing analytic support for hospital-wide initiatives, service line development, and new patient growth at City of Hope. As a key business partner to Clinical Leaders, this role drives high-quality patient experiences and service line growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and utilize reporting tools to support Clinical Operations, driving service line utilization and achieving strategic business targets.
  • Gather data to support metrics and analytics, exercising discretion and independent judgment to make decisions and recommendations.
  • Support data standardization processes and help develop, maintain, and automate tools and systems to support Clinical department monitoring.
  • Provide value-added insights to hospital executives and Clinical leadership, serving as a business partner of choice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or another business-related field.
  • 1-3 years of healthcare finance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, people and process/project management skills, ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure, and ability to influence people at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, e.g., Excel and PowerPoint.
