Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our Infant classroom team at Chapel Ridge Christian Daycare and Early Learning Academy. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of our youngest learners.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with our Bible-based approach to early childhood education
  • Lead classroom activities and provide guidance to Teacher Assistants to ensure a safe and fun environment
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Communicate effectively with parents on their child's progress and growth
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure continuity and consistency in our program
Requirements
  • CDA Certification or Associate in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  • Alternative credentials include 6-12 semester credits with 1,000- 4,000 hours of experience
  • CPR certified including infants (or willing to immediately be certified)
  • Must agree with the Chapel Ridge Faith Statement
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
