Our US Education Sales division is in search of a proactive Demand Generation Manager to become a member of the Strategy, Demand Generation, and Enablement team in the United States.

In this capacity, you will expand Apple's educational business by overseeing the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives across digital, virtual, and in-person platforms.

You will curate a detailed marketing calendar to optimize qualified lead generation and serve as a bridge between Sales and Product Marketing to secure valuable content and develop engaging promotional activities.

Utilizing your influence and established expertise in creative marketing optimization techniques, you will cultivate relationships, formulate strategies, and execute campaigns to revolutionize the educational landscape.

This role may require up to 25% domestic travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive marketing calendar that includes digital, virtual, and live initiatives to generate qualified leads.
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison for the sales team, aligning sales objectives with marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders including Product Marketing and Sales to identify and secure high-value content and plan impactful promotional activities.
  • Implement and manage multivariate testing, segment-targeting, intent-based marketing, and other optimization strategies to enhance campaign performance.
  • Work with the sales team to ensure effective lead nurturing and conversion strategies are established.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators related to marketing campaigns and lead generation.
  • Utilize insights from data analysis to inform and refine marketing strategies for optimal outcomes.
  • Provide regular ROI reports and analyses to stakeholders.
  • Continuously seek to innovate and enhance marketing practices.

Minimum Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of leadership experience in mentoring and guiding others.

Significant B2B demand generation experience working with both direct and indirect sales teams.

Demonstrated experience executing campaigns through marketing automation tools for the creation and distribution of batch emails and nurture paths, email delivery, forms, landing pages, database segmentation, and management.

Ability to lead the strategic segmentation of leads and contacts within CRM systems by leveraging advanced segmentation capabilities.

In-depth knowledge of CRM data structures, proficiency in marketing automation for executing segmented marketing campaigns, and ability to utilize analytics for segmentation refinement and optimization, ensuring alignment with targeted marketing strategies.

Deep understanding of key performance indicators relevant to marketing and lead generation.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in EdTech demand generation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading a team that integrates content, lead funnel management, and campaign execution is highly desirable.
A digital marketing portfolio showcasing produced marketing work is a plus.
Experience with A/B testing is highly preferred.

Expert reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign performance and associated expenditures down to the most granular details while providing comprehensive reporting to senior management.

Ability to build, lead, and develop inclusive teams and attract and retain talent through performance management, coaching, guidance, and support.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including exceptional storytelling abilities.

Ability to motivate and inspire others, articulate vision and purpose, and advocate for Apple's values. Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence cross-functionally, navigate organizational structures, and manage complex relationships.

Demonstrated business acumen along with sales and business development experience.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure and clarity where none exists.
Exceptional decision-making abilities, tenacity, drive for excellence, and attention to detail.
Experience managing a remote or geographically dispersed team is a plus.
A master's degree is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.

This allows for growth as you develop within a role.

The base pay range for this position is between $146,800 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
