Position: Special Education Teacher

Overview:

Soliant Education is seeking committed Special Education Teachers for full-time, onsite roles. These positions are available for the academic year, covering various grade levels from K-12. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute customized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students across different grade levels (K-12).
  • Deliver specialized instruction and assistance to cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Work collaboratively with general education teachers to modify and adapt the curriculum as necessary.
  • Evaluate and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student development.
  • Engage in effective communication with parents, school personnel, and other stakeholders to facilitate student achievement.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience in a special education environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IEP creation and execution.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational setting for all learners.
