Job Opportunity

Delta-T Group Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team of professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to work with students in a classroom setting and make a positive impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute differentiated lesson plans that employ multisensory teaching strategies for students with diverse needs.
  • Communicate effectively with school administrators, teaching colleagues, and community members to ensure the unique educational needs of students are met.
  • Collaborate with students and their families to identify their talents, interests, and needs, and convey learning expectations and progress.
  • Monitor and support the implementation of goals in inclusive classes, and provide accommodations, modifications, and adaptations as needed.
  • Create and maintain a classroom culture that fosters high achievement and student ownership of their learning.
Requirements
  • Commitment to the success of each student.
  • Teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an urban setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Experience in writing and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and communicating with families and service providers.
  • Master's degree in special education preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience and results demonstrating student development.
