Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Direct Support Staff to join our team at Network Human Services. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional resident care and support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resident Care
    • Provide all aspects of direct resident care as described in residents' individual plans and properly document activities as required.
    • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL), individual plan goal activities, socialization, development and communication skills, and other essential life skills.
  • Residence Maintenance
    • Participate in routine residence maintenance tasks as assigned, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Accurately document resident and residence electronic health records, including periodic status assessments, daily task analysis charts, and other required records.
    • Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Teamwork and Confidentiality
    • Work collaboratively with the care team to achieve exceptional resident outcomes.
    • Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to all relevant legislation and policies.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • Medication certification and other relevant certifications as required.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Physical ability to assist residents with daily tasks.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
    • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records.
Work Schedule

Full-time position with a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
