Job Summary

Network Human Services is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Resident Care: Participate in providing all aspects of direct resident care, including activities of daily living, individual plan goal activities, socialization, and development of meaningful interpersonal relationships.
  • Residence Maintenance: Participate in routine residence maintenance, including upkeep of the residence and its surroundings.
  • Documentation: Accurately document resident and residence electronic health records, including periodic resident status assessments, daily task analysis charts, and ongoing inter-staff communication.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to all relevant legislation and policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: Obtain and maintain medication certification, First Aid, CPR, and other relevant certifications.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to assist residents with physical tasks, including lifting and using adaptive equipment.
Work Schedule

Part-time position, approximately 26 hours per week, with varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
