Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Rights Specialist to join our team at Canacre. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for acquiring and enforcing real property rights required for the operation, maintenance, and expansion of our transmission, distribution, and communication system infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on investigating, negotiating, and acquiring leases, licenses, and permits for our network infrastructure, as well as staging areas for storm or construction laydowns. You will also serve as a legal witness as necessary for condemnation or other proceedings.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of property rights research methods, including courthouse searches for recorded documents and internet research. You will also need to be skilled in creating and managing project forecasts associated with field agent tasks and professionally conveying progress to internal and external stakeholders.
