Job Overview

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Cost Accounting Functions:

  • Examine manufacturing costs and variances, including labor, materials, and overhead.
  • Conduct cost analysis to support pricing strategies, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Financial Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Highlight key performance metrics and trends.
  • Assist with budget formulation and forecasting tasks.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.

Compliance and Control Measures:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, GAAP, and applicable regulations.
  • Participate in the establishment and maintenance of internal controls.
  • Assist in the creation and documentation of accounting procedures and processes.

Collaborative Efforts:

  • Engage closely with production, supply chain, and operations teams to comprehend manufacturing processes and their financial implications.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights and support informed decision-making.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and financial reporting.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and accounting best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA or CMA certification is advantageous.
  • 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing context.
  • Strong grasp of cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
