Data Scientist for Self-Driving Systems

The Data Curation team at Tesla is responsible for building high-quality datasets that enable the development of successful Self-Driving systems.

This includes designing methods to collect data from various sources, creating training materials for the collection team, auditing the data, and collaborating with AI Engineers to train our neural networks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and data science, with experience in building and maintaining large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data collection methods to ensure high-quality data
  • Create training materials for the data collection team
  • Audit and filter data to ensure its quality and relevance
  • Collaborate with AI Engineers to train our neural networks
  • Develop evaluations to verify the effectiveness of our Self-Driving systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Math, or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in machine learning and data science
  • Experience in building and maintaining large datasets
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
