Job Summary

The Data Engineer, Self-Driving Analytics role is a key position in the Self-Driving Data and Analytics team at Tesla. The team is responsible for extracting valuable insights from the vast amounts of data generated by Tesla's fleet of vehicles. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data pipelines to support the team's goals.

Responsibilities

* Design and implement data pipelines using Python and Spark to extract insights from fleet data
* Collaborate with AI engineering partners to develop and refine data-driven solutions
* Develop and maintain data visualizations using Grafana and custom JavaScript
* Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and monitoring

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Math
* Strong experience with Python, SQL, and Spark
* Familiarity with Grafana and custom JavaScript a plus
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Expected Compensation

$120,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
