Job Summary

The Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for visitors entering our facilities, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check in and out patients, schedule appointments, and register patients
  • Verify demographics, insurance, and other necessary information
  • Provide telephone coverage and respond to patient inquiries
  • Enter data accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Obtain authorizations, pre-register patients, and facilitate new patient referrals
  • Collect point-of-service payments and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in customer service or a healthcare office setting
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a team player
  • Proficient in data entry with multiple software applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
