Job Summary:

The Lead Software Engineer is responsible for designing and developing server programs for distribution center management. This role requires a deep understanding of business and customer requirements that drive the design of technical solutions and participation in all phases of product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop complex software applications
  • Configure and setup servers, line controllers, and workstations
  • Install and maintain on-site systems through testing and troubleshooting
  • Create and design server table layouts and coordination
  • Coordinate aspects of server and system testing and maintain technical documentation and resources
  • Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred
  • 8+ years progressive Software Engineering experience required
  • Periodic travel may be required
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
