Understanding Fulfillment: Fulfillment refers to the process of completing customer orders, which includes picking, packing, shipping, and delivering items to meet or exceed expectations. Role Overview:

This position is interactive, requiring you to be on your feet for most of your shift, working closely with your team. Although tied to a specific city, placement opportunities are available nationwide, aligning with your location preferences and current availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach, manage, and develop a team of Amazon associates.
  • Communicate policies and act as the primary information source for your team, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Create and support recognition programs.
  • Promote safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance for a secure work environment.
  • Maintain building security and product loss prevention procedures.
  • Collaborate with management to uphold quality control standards.
  • Establish performance goals to meet customer demand and ensure accuracy.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Access all areas of the facility safely.
  • Navigate throughout the warehouse frequently.
  • Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Lift and move items weighing up to 49 pounds.

A Day in the Life:

As an Operations Supervisor, you will lead and develop your own team of Amazon Associates in a distribution environment. Your primary focus will be on motivating, mentoring, and managing your team to achieve targeted goals. As a people manager, you will ensure that your team has the necessary tools to succeed while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and attendance.

Basic Qualifications:

A bachelor's or master's degree with all requirements completed prior to your start date.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to motivate others in a deadline-driven environment, and a proven track record of ownership and results-driven performance.
