About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgery, anesthesia, and patient recovery
  • Conduct venipuncture, catheter placement, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and provide compassionate care
  • Prepare and assist with laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations
Requirements
  • Current California RVT license
  • Previous experience in an animal hospital or veterinary clinic
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
