Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with client families, ensuring all needs are met during times of need or pre-need arrangements.
  • Conduct tours and guide families to cemetery lot locations.
  • Foster relationships, deliver exceptional service, and generate potential referrals by attending services and visitations; schedule and conduct follow-up appointments to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with state and industry regulations and company policies by accurately completing required documentation and conducting audits.
  • Adhere to pricing structures and submit all contracts and payments to the Business Office in a timely manner.
  • Report progress to the Sales Manager and submit all required reports promptly.
  • Actively seek new prospects and community contacts through presentations that highlight services and the benefits of pre-need arrangements.
  • Maintain positive communication and collaboration with all funeral homes, departments, and team members to ensure service excellence.
  • Meet or exceed company standards in revenue generation to maintain employment and benefits eligibility.
  • Protect the confidentiality of company and client information.
  • Participate in all required training initiatives.
  • Identify and respond to hazards at the location and on grounds.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • A four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is preferred.
  • A proven track record in outside sales is strongly preferred.
  • A valid state-issued driver's license in good standing is required.

Additional Skills

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Professional demeanor and courteous conduct in accordance with employer expectations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Work Environment

The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform essential functions, including indoor office work and outdoor duties that may involve exposure to various weather conditions.

Travel Requirements

  • This position may involve local travel during business hours.
