About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our AWS Infrastructure Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

You will work closely with our team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to ensure the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and deliver AWS global infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of AWS infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation on technologies supported
  • Convey SOPs to junior staff

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or higher in IT-related field, applicable certifications, and equivalent professional or military experience
  • 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in computer hardware and technical troubleshooting
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Networking experience with CCNA and/or Network+ certifications
  • Experience with CISCO, Juniper, and other commodity networking devices
  • Experience working in a Data Center environment: racking & stacking equipment, cable management
