**Nursing Education Opportunity at Saint Vincent Hospital**
Develop and implement a comprehensive education program for nursing staff at Saint Vincent Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Worcester, Massachusetts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and staff to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing personnel.
- Implement a comprehensive education program for the facility, following and contributing to Tenet educational goals and vision.
- Support the educational needs for assigned units/clinics, including classroom, clinical experiences, and learning technologies.
- Ensure all program/course revisions meet the Department of Nursing and regulatory expectations and standards.
- Provide consultation to enhance continuing education, professional development opportunities, and mentorship opportunities.
- Mentor nurse residents and actively support their growth in the profession and clinical practice.
- Participate in continuing education provider unit learning and evaluate nursing education activities.
- Assist in development of clinical policies and procedures as requested.
- Mentor colleagues, other nurses, students, and others as appropriate.
- Participate in quality performance improvement activities.
**Requirements:**
- Master's degree in nursing or related field.
- Five years of clinical nursing experience, with at least two in area of specialization.
- Experience in the teaching and learning process.
