As a Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in assessing, planning, developing, implementing, facilitating, evaluating, and revising educational programming for nursing personnel and non-nursing personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with market nursing leadership and staff to develop and implement educational programs
- Assess and evaluate the educational needs of nursing staff and develop programs to meet those needs
- Implement a comprehensive education program for the perioperative department, following and contributing to Tenet educational goals and vision
- Support the educational needs of assigned units/clinics, including classroom, clinical experiences, and learning technologies
- Provide consultation to enhance continuing education, professional development opportunities, and mentorship opportunities
Requirements:
- Master's degree in nursing or related field
- Five years of clinical nursing experience, with at least two in the area of specialization
- Experience in the teaching and learning process
- Registered nurse licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of MA
- BLS, ACLS certification
- Certification in clinical specialty required
