Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Educator to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in assessing, planning, developing, implementing, facilitating, evaluating, and revising educational programming for nursing personnel and non-nursing personnel across various departments. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating a comprehensive education program that meets the orientation and ongoing competency needs of our nursing staff, supporting the Tenet model of professional nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with market nursing leadership and staff to develop and implement educational programs
  • Design and deliver educational content, including orientation, continuing education, and in-services
  • Provide consultation and guidance to enhance continuing education, professional development opportunities, and mentorship
  • Participate in quality performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
  • Support the educational needs of assigned units/clinics, including classroom, clinical experiences, and learning technologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
  • Five years of clinical nursing experience, with at least two in the area of specialization
  • Experience in the teaching and learning process
  • Registered nurse licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of MA
  • BLS and ACLS certification
