Corporate Development Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Corporate Development team as an intern. This 12-week internship will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with our business units and contribute to the development of our company's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in financial analysis and support merger & acquisition process execution
  • Implement operating system improvements for the team
  • Partner with business units on inorganic growth opportunities with financial analysis, due diligence, deal structuring, and valuation
  • Develop and deliver content for strategic reviews with leadership
  • Build and maintain tools, analyses, and reports to highlight internal metrics and key market information
  • Develop business cases to advise on investment decisions
  • Assess program economics, model financial outlook, and track key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure alignment on and execution of strategic recommendations
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship
  • Strong quantitative skill set and attention to detail
  • Strong ability to structure and apply analytical frameworks to solve problems
  • Aptitude for teamwork with shown potential for leadership
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pursuing an advanced degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or other highly analytical field
  • Demonstrated leadership in a professional setting to deliver results that have a positive material impact
  • Understanding of the private space industry
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
