Bridge Structural Engineering Internship

KPFF Consulting Engineers, a leading engineering firm, is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our Bridge/Civil-Structural Group as Structural Engineering Interns.

About the Role

As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of bridge and heavy civil projects, including highway bridges, pedestrian bridges, walls, culverts, and structure inspection. You will be part of a dynamic team that works on exciting projects with exceptional clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and analysis of bridge structures
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and information
  • Develop and maintain project documentation and reports
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to complete projects
Requirements
  • Current enrollment in a BSCE/MSCE program
  • Completion of 90+ credits, including two or more design courses (concrete, steel, wood, or masonry)
  • Basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • Strong technical and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work in-person in our downtown Seattle office
