About the Role:
Troy Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the position of Unit Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit and ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervisory Duties: You will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Policy Development: You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive and supportive work environment.
- Mentorship: You will provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced nurses, helping them to develop their clinical and leadership skills.
- Quality Assurance: You will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided to our residents, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Communication: You will serve as a liaison between our nursing unit and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve our goals.
Requirements:
- Education: You must hold a valid State RN License.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of long-term care experience is preferred, with 2 years of charge nurse experience also preferred.
- Skills: You must possess strong computer skills and excellent communication skills.
