Senior Clinical Nurse: General Medical/Surgical Specialist

The Senior Clinical Nurse plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive work environment at Albany Medical Center. This role involves implementing physician orders, administering medications, and performing treatments and procedures with precision and compassion. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong commitment to maintaining professional nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs and provide primary and emergency care
Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure seamless care delivery
Implement quality concepts and principles to improve patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient treatment and care
Requirements:
Graduate of a professional nursing program
Current state Registered Nurse license
Certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills
