Key Responsibilities:

- Administer fundamental nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with personal hygiene, and providing comfort to patients.
- Maintain accurate and ongoing assessments of patient conditions, documenting all relevant care and responses.
- Collaborate effectively with RNs and medical professionals regarding patient needs.
- Work alongside fellow nurses and healthcare team members to promote patient wellness.
- Educate patients and their families on health-related information and provide necessary written materials.
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Prepare and administer medications following organizational policies.
- Monitor and document patient reactions to medications.
- Exhibit proficiency in managing emergency situations with professionalism and precision.
- Facilitate the admission, transfer, and discharge processes for residents.
- Complete administrative tasks such as medical documentation, evaluations, and charting as required.
- Record and communicate physician orders accurately.
- Document incidents involving residents and adhere to established protocols.
- Verify resident identities prior to administering treatments or medications.
- Ensure the availability of necessary medications and supplies, reporting any needs to management.
- Maintain accurate narcotic records during your shift.
- Report any discrepancies in medications to management promptly.
- Provide comprehensive reports during shift changes, communicating essential information effectively.
- Adhere to safety and infection control policies, including proper hygiene practices and disposal of materials.
Employment Types: Part-time, Full-time, Per-Diem
Salary Range: $38.00 - $47.97 per hour (commensurate with experience)
