Responsibilities:- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
- Assist with patient education and provide support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers.
- Handle medical administrative support tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and handling insurance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
