Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
  • Assist with patient education and provide support and guidance to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems.
  • Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers.
  • Handle medical administrative support tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and handling insurance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
