We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Medical Group Alaska. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will conduct a variety of general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations, including reviewing medical history and associated records, interpreting clinical data, and completing written reports and generating independent medical opinions (IMO).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations
  • Review medical history and associated records
  • Interpret clinical data
  • Complete written reports and generate independent medical opinions (IMO)
  • Collaborate with other professional and clinical staff as needed

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited university or college
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care / internal medicine experience
  • Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice in the state of hire
  • Valid BLS OR ACLS certification
  • Ability to obtain DEA license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations
