Job Title: Strategic Account Manager

At Wesco International, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with our most strategic clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients and prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, understanding their business needs and delivering value-added solutions.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer engagement.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities, including renewals, projects, and share improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate customer activity, opportunity status, and strategic plan progress to management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; 5+ years of sales experience in outside sales or 3+ years of strategic account and/or sales management experience.
  • Proven track record of success in maintaining and developing key relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
