Job Summary

NVR Inc. is seeking a skilled Closing Specialist to join our team. As a Closing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth preparation and execution of closing documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with closing officers, title department, and vendors to obtain necessary verifications and documentation for closing documents.
  • Prepare title commitments and policies in accordance with underwriting requirements, title reports, and surveys.
  • Responsible for the preparation of NVRSS documents, including deeds, in accordance with attorney approval and buyer tenancy requests.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Quality Control/Audit procedures, corporate policies, regulatory policies, and government disclosures to review closed files for accuracy and compliance.
  • Verify receipt of all funds necessary for disbursement and ensure case funds balance.
  • Issue and deliver checks in a timely manner, initiate wires, and allocate settlement fees to appropriate income accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy of deeds and security instruments and record in the appropriate jurisdiction's land records within required time and in accordance with state laws and company policy.
