Job Overview

Sandbox Resources, a leading provider of business support services to contractors and construction companies, is seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Manager to oversee financial operations across multiple construction-related companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, and consolidate financial statements and reports for each business.
  • Drive compliance with internal financial controls and implement standardized accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and management teams across all companies for financial planning and strategy.
  • Provide insights and strategies for cost optimization and profit maximization.
  • Manage construction billing, including releases, schedule of values, and commercial construction accounting.

Requirements:

  • A seasoned Controller/Accounting Manager with 5+ years of experience in construction-related companies.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and familiar with construction management software (e.g., Construction Online, Builder Trend, or similar).
  • Fluent in P&L management, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis across multiple companies.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (a significant advantage but not required).
  • Able to thrive in a multi-company environment, juggling multiple financial processes seamlessly.
  • An excellent communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
