About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our dynamic team at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will be responsible for analyzing insurance rates, coverage terms, and rating rules to ensure the company's financial stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct actuarial analysis of insurance rates, coverage terms, and rating rules to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with Underwriting and Sales teams to develop and implement new products and programs.
- Perform ad-hoc projects as needed to support the company's business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background.
- At least 3 years of actuarial P&C experience, with commercial filing experience a plus.
- Results-oriented with the ability to multi-task and adjust priorities when necessary.
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with SQL and VBA.

- A competitive salary range of $85k - $120k, with starting salary determined by skills and experience.
- A hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and two days from home.
