About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will be responsible for analyzing insurance rates, coverage terms, and rating rules to ensure our products meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform actuarial analysis of insurance rates, coverage terms, and rating rules
- Prepare regulatory filings and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Collaborate with Underwriting and Sales teams to develop and manage insurance products
- Conduct ad-hoc projects as needed to support business objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of actuarial P&C experience, with commercial filing experience a plus
- Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with SQL and VBA
