Job Description

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for supporting customer requirements through timely order entry and ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and efficiently. The Customer Account Specialist will serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and execute daily processes with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all necessary information is included.
  • Manage customer relationships through proactive communication, issue resolution, and account maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including manufacturing, quality control, and procurement, to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Generate and lead action items to improve on-time and in-full delivery rates.
  • Assist with customer file maintenance, including profiles, SOPs, and product specifications.
  • Participate in process improvements and optimize department efficiency.
  • Ensure safety awareness, training, and ergonomic practices are followed in the office area.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Business or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in customer service or inside sales.
  • Knowledge of inventory planning, forecasting, and MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP System is preferred.
  • Superior teamwork skills, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills are required.
