Customer Service Representative - Vehicle Exit

Hertz is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative - Vehicle Exit. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient rental experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and complete necessary rental information, including scanning and checking the rental agreement, verifying customer identification, and scanning vehicle asset tags.
  • Provide optional sales items, as directed by management, while using approved sales techniques to disclose rates, terms, and conditions of rental and obtain customer signatures.
  • Maintain location and company security measures to mitigate theft of company assets, perform sight monitoring of the lot, and ensure smooth transition of vehicles exiting through the security gate.
  • Assist customers with directions, review and resolve rental contract and vehicle issues, and manually log and release vehicles from the lot during computer system outages or unavailability.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with customers
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Ability to upsell and overcome customer objections
  • Display a high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
